Camera Access: We request access to your device's camera solely to capture images of Bible scriptures for text recognition. Images are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

Photo Library Access: We request access to your photo library to allow you to select existing images for scripture scanning. Selected images are processed locally.

Text Data: When you scan a scripture, the recognized text is sent to our AI service (Alibaba Qwen) for analysis. This text data is used solely for providing scripture analysis and is not stored permanently.

Account Information: If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we collect your name and email address (if provided) to create your account. This information is stored locally on your device and used to personalize your experience.

Subscription Data: If you subscribe to HolyLens VIP, your subscription status is managed through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To recognize and extract Bible scripture text from images
• To provide AI-powered scripture analysis and interpretation
• To save your favorite scriptures locally on your device
• To improve our app's functionality and user experience

3. Data Storage

All your personal data, including favorites and scan history, is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain user accounts or store personal data on external servers.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Alibaba Qwen AI: For scripture text extraction and analysis. Text data is processed according to Alibaba Cloud's privacy policy.
• Bible API (bible.helloao.org): For retrieving Bible verse data. No personal information is shared with this service.
• Apple Sign In: For authentication. Subject to Apple's privacy policy.
• Google Sign In: For authentication. Subject to Google's privacy policy.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your information. All API communications are encrypted using HTTPS.

6. Children's Privacy

Our app is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your Rights

You can:

• Delete your scan history and favorites at any time within the app
• Delete your account and all associated data through the app's Profile settings
• Revoke camera and photo library permissions through your device settings
• Request information about your data by contacting us

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
